Built at the end of the 17th century, the Ponte Nuovo or Ponte della Bionda is an ancient bridge located on the course of the Navile canal. In ancient times it allowed the passage of the horses that pulled the barges that came from the Low towards the city, sometimes even from the sea, since by navigating on the Navile you could reach the Adriatic.
The Ponte della Bionda Cultural Association, founded in January 2005, brings together a group of people who have taken the fate of that part of the Navile canal close to the bridge to heart and take care of its maintenance and making it accessible to the public, transforming it into an arena-summer shows, making it a point of reference for thousands of citizens.
