During the realization of the project we decided to submit the photos to Arte Fiera, with a deadline therefore, so that they could be accepted and so the last days at our disposal we were invited by another institution to photograph it: the Committee for Historic and Artistic Bologna . In 1888 Bologna "made itself beautiful" on the occasion of the great Exhibition and on the occasion many buildings were demolished with great haste and without regard for the historical or artistic aspect of what ended up under the picks; for this, the following year, the Committee was created led by the conservative Alfonso Rubbiani who made the crusade his own for the restoration and conservation of Bologna that was. Therefore, within the Committee, countless original drawings by Rubbiani are archived with care and passion, but not only of architecture, but also of history and culture, they became custodians and it is no coincidence that the first honorary partner was the great poet Giosuè Carducci. It was a pleasure for us to take this unique photo, also because a conference was taking place inside the office that day. In its "simplicity" it is a photograph that has cost several attempts and many compromises. Certainly, it must be said, the many tenants of the historic building that houses the Committee who stopped - turning on the lights of the treacherous stairs - appreciated the uniqueness of the technique used.
